As a kid i'd mix tapes using one turntable from a regular Hi-Fi System. I'd dub the tracks together using the pause button on the cassette deck. It taught me how to read records . . . the architecture of Music is as mind blowing as any major piece of construction. It's a mental journey that i enjoy playing. I'm also more sound oriented that lyrically. Don't get me wrong . . . i love Vocals. They just have to be complex and/or really moving. You won't catch me playing "Peanut Butter Jelly". Production is something i've only been doing for a year (since Summer 2006) and i know i have much to learn. I started using "Reason" and while i still do i, have begun to teach myself "Ableton" (live5) . If anyone has any tips for me using either program, my ears are as open as my mind!! That's all for now . . . . i may add more from time to time. Mmmmm Music. I'm seriously into a lot of electronic music, House, Tech-House, Progressive, Breaks, Electro, Techno, D & B, Acid Jazz, Trip-Hop, Hip hop (not rap), Ambient, Abstract (some). I'm also into Soul, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Gospel (i'm not religious but i love the voices) Dub, Reggae, Rock (some) & Classical.
